CHILDREN MEDITATION PROGRAMS

Children Meditation Camp

Children6666 Meditation Camps were initiated at Oshodham during December 2002 under the loving guidance of Sambudh Swami Om Prakash Saraswati, founder of Oshodham. He insisted that children should be introduced to meditation before their minds are corrupted by conditionings of the society. Enriching self through Creativity, Laughter, Dance and Meditation – Children Camps are organized at Oshodham at regular intervals throughout the year. These camps are designed to give children an opportunity to laugh, dance, sing and play together; to explore talents, interests, and abilities; to challenge self-imposed limitations and expand self-awareness; and to develop a closer relationship with nature and each other; and much more. Through everyday activities, such as Active and Passive Meditations, creative arts, creative games and sharing n music sessions, a loving environment based on spontaneous cooperation and acceptance comes alive, in which children easily opens up … Meditations like Kundalini, Gibberish, No Dimensions, Nadabrahma, Whirling, laughter, breathing based meditations, Evening Satsang, various Dance Meditations e.g Stop Dance, Heart Dance etc. and Listening to Osho’s Discourses gives children a taste of silence and bliss in a playful way and allows them the freedom to be their real self. Every day children are involved in lot of creative activities e.g. painting, clay modeling, paper craft, theatre, choreography, singing and many more. And the more involved they are, absorbed they are, more blissful it is. The whole point of these creative sessions is that child is able to express so freely and totally that the activity itself becomes the fun and bliss.

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

It was a dream come true to have been able to participate in your workshop. I was really 'blown away' with the meditations that we did and specially appreciated learning the breath one: such a simple and beautiful technique that allowed me to go deep inside myself. So many doors were open, and keep opening right now, with awareness and sensitivity.

I have done many groups and courses in my life; this was the best ever. I had a sense of waking up, of greater connection with my body, and seeing life as a dream. There was such loving energy throughout, in the workshop, and for me personally a great amount of learning, and golden keys to work on myself in my everyday living.

I really appreciate the way you two work together and your lightness of touch with what could be a heavy topic. I wish we could continue to explore together in this open space.
